An experience certificate — also called a service certificate — confirms that a person was employed by your company, in what position and for what period. New employers and some visa processes ask leavers for one. This tool produces it on your letterhead in fixed formal English wording, ready to sign.
What the certificate states
The letter certifies the employee’s name, optionally their nationality, the position held, and the joining and leaving dates. If the employee is still with you, leave the leaving date empty and the letter reads “remains in employment to date”.
It closes with a standard courtesy line and the signature of your authorised signatory. Dates are spelled out in full — “15 March 2020” — so a reader anywhere reads the same date.
