Overtime Pay, Annual Leave, Final Settlement, and Emiratisation

These four calculators run entirely in your browser, in both languages. The salary figures, dates and headcounts you enter never leave your device: there is no network request when you calculate, and nothing is saved between visits. The ILOE insurance note on the Salary Calculator is computed the same way, from the basic salary already on the page. The DOCX estimates offered by the Overtime, Annual Leave and Final Settlement calculators are assembled in your browser as well and downloaded directly; they are not sent to our processing service.

Sick Leave and Maternity Leave

Explain this result (AI)

Calculating a result on the calculators above sends nothing. The one exception is the optional Explain this result (AI) button under the results of the End of Service, Annual Leave, Overtime, Final Settlement, Notice Period, Sick Leave and Maternity Leave calculators. Nothing is sent until you press it. When you do, the figures of the result on the page (amounts, day counts, dates and the options you chose; no names and no free text) are sent to our processing service at api.payslip.ae and from there to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), a third-party AI provider outside the UAE, together with the text of the law articles the calculator applies. They are used only to write the explanation. Our service does not store or log the figures or the explanation; it records only counts and timings. We send them with OpenAI's store: false setting; under OpenAI's API data policy, OpenAI may keep API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use them to train its models.

The random device UUID accompanies each request so that we can apply the limit of 20 explanations a day per device; a daily counter for the whole service is kept as well. Neither contains your figures.

EOSB Liability

The EOSB Liability calculator for employers runs entirely in your browser, in every language. The roster you enter (employee names, salaries and dates) never leaves your device: there is no network request when you calculate, and nothing is saved between visits. The DOCX report is assembled in your browser as well and downloaded directly; it is not sent to our processing service.

WPS Deadline

The WPS Deadline checker runs entirely in your browser, in every language. The payroll month, payment date and wage amounts you enter never leave your device: there is no network request when you check, and nothing is saved between visits.

The dates you enter never leave your device, and the calendar (.ics) files are built in your browser and saved directly: there is no network request when you work out the dates, print or download, and nothing is saved between visits.

Probation, Working Hours, Part-Time and Visa Cancellation

The Probation Period, Working Hours, Part-Time and Visa Cancellation pages run entirely in your browser, in every language. The dates, hours and wage you enter never leave your device: there is no network request when you work out the result, and nothing is saved between visits. Contract and Deductions Checkers

The Contract and Deductions checkers run in your browser, in every language. The contract terms, wage and deductions you enter in their forms never leave your device: there is no network request when you check, and nothing is saved between visits. The one exception is the optional AI import on the Contract Checker, described in the next section. The Salary Check also runs only in your browser, with no AI import: the month, dates and amounts you enter stay on your device.

Contract Checker: import from your contract (AI)

If you use “Import from your contract (AI)”, the contract file you choose is read in your browser and is not uploaded. When you press Import, the text extracted from it (at most 60,000 characters, which you can see and edit first) is sent to our processing service at api.payslip.ae and from there to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), a third-party AI provider outside the UAE. It is used only to copy the contract’s terms into the checker’s form. Our service does not store or log the text or the AI’s answer; it records only counts and timings (how many characters and form fields, how long the answer took). We send it with OpenAI’s store: false setting; under OpenAI’s API data policy, OpenAI may keep API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use them to train its models.

A contract usually names you and states your salary. You may delete names, Emirates ID and passport numbers from the text before you press Import. The random device UUID accompanies the request so that we can apply the limit of 5 imports a day per device; a daily counter for the whole service is kept as well. Neither contains the text. The imported answers stay on the page and are not saved anywhere.

Payslip Generator, Salary Certificate, and Logo Generator

These tools send the information you enter to our processing service (a Cloudflare Worker at api.payslip.ae) so it can build the PDF/DOCX document or the AI logo image and return it to you. That service is operated by Bright Global Accounting and runs on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers, KV and R2, plus Workers AI for AI logo generation). No other company receives this data.

• Payslip and salary certificate documents (employee name, passport number, EID, nationality, salary, allowances, bank details, company name) are used only to generate the document you requested and are returned to you directly. They are not stored on our servers after your document is generated.
• Bulk from CSV (Payslip Generator and Salary Certificate): the CSV file you choose is read in your browser and is not uploaded, and nothing from it is saved on your device. Each row is then sent as its own request, one at a time, to the same processing service, together with the company details and logo from the page, exactly as if you had typed it into the form; each document is returned to you and is not stored. The ZIP of all documents is assembled in your browser. At most 50 rows are sent per file.
• A logo you upload on the Payslip Generator or Salary Certificate page stays in your browser. It is saved in your browser's localStorage so it is still there next month, and it is sent inside the document request, where it is drawn into the file and discarded. It is not stored on our servers. The "Clear" button on those pages removes it.
• A logo the AI generates is stored, so it can appear in your history and be reused across documents. You can delete any of them at any time from the Logo Generator page; deleting removes both the image and its history entry.
• A random device identifier (a UUID stored in your browser's localStorage) is sent with each request so the service can find your logo history, your Word template if you uploaded one, and your usage counters. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other identity.
• Company/signer details you enter on the Salary Certificate page (not employee details) are saved in your browser's localStorage for convenience across visits. You can clear this at any time with the "Clear" button on that page.

Custom Word template (Payslip Generator)

If you upload your own Word template on the Payslip Generator, the .docx file is stored by our processing service in Cloudflare R2, under your browser's anonymous device ID, together with its file name, upload date and size. It is used only to build your payslip DOCX files, is not shared with anyone, and is never written to our logs. It is kept until you delete it: there is no automatic expiry. Delete it with the "Delete template" button on the Payslip Generator, or erase all your data under "Your data" below. Uploading a new template replaces the old one.

HR Letters

The HR Letters tool (experience certificate, NOC, offer letter, warning letter, termination letter, resignation acceptance, probation confirmation, salary transfer letter, leave approval, notice of disciplinary investigation, final settlement receipt, salary advance agreement, salary increment letter, probation termination letter, unauthorised absence notice, non-compete agreement, contract amendment addendum, promotion letter, relieving letter, and an employee's resignation letter, leave application, payment demand letter and passport return request) sends the details you enter to the same processing service at api.payslip.ae to build the PDF or DOCX and return it. Depending on the letter, that is: the company name and address, the signer's name and title, an optional letterhead logo, and the letter's subject — the employee or candidate name, position and dates, salary figures, the NOC's addressee and purpose, the last wage and the reason the employment ended on an experience certificate, the warning's incident description and hearing date; for a termination, whether it falls during probation, the notice date, the contract notice days, the reason, whether the notice is worked and any scheduled return from leave; for a resignation, the date it was received, the notice rule and days, any agreed last working day, any scheduled return from leave and the handover instruction; for a probation confirmation, the probation end date, the confirmation date and any revised basic salary; for a salary transfer letter, the bank and branch, the employee's nationality, joining date, basic salary and allowances, the request to the bank and whether the company's undertaking is included; for a leave approval, the employee's name, the leave type, the requested and approved dates, the working days where the leave counts them, the return date and the reason for a partial approval; for a notice of disciplinary investigation, the employee's name and position, the allegation typed, the incident date, the date the company became aware, the hearing date, time and place and the investigator; for a final settlement receipt, the employee's name and position, the last working day, the amounts paid, each deduction's reason and amount, the payment date, method and any reference; for a salary advance agreement, the employee's name and position, whether it is an advance or a loan, the amount, the date paid, the monthly wage, the number of instalments, the first deduction month and any other monthly deductions entered for the 50% check (sent, not printed); for a salary increment letter, the employee's name, the current and any new position, the current and new basic salary and allowances and the effective date; for a probation termination letter, the employee's name and position, the start date, the notice date, the last working day and any reason typed; for an unauthorised absence notice, the employee's name and position, whether the employee is still absent, the first and any last day of absence, the date to respond by and any attempts to reach the employee typed; for an employee's payment demand letter, the employee's name and position, the employer's name, any last working day, each amount owed with its description and period, any amount already paid or deducted and the payment date; for an employee's passport return request, the employee's name and position, the employer's name, the documents held, any other document named, the date they were taken where given and the return date; for a non-compete agreement, the employee's name and position, what the work gives access to, the restricted type of work, the place, the period in months and any consideration with when it is paid; for a contract amendment addendum, the employee's name and current position, any contract date, the effective date, any new position, the current and new basic salary and allowances, any new daily and weekly hours, any current and new work model and whether the employee consents to a lower salary; for a promotion letter, the employee's name, the current and new position, the effective date, any reporting line and main responsibilities typed and any current and new basic salary and allowances; for a relieving letter, the employee's name and position, the joining date, the relieving date, the reason the employment ended and whether the handover is complete; for an employee's own resignation letter, the employee's name and position, the employer's name, the notice date, the notice rule and days, the reason typed and any request to waive or shorten the notice; or, for an employee's leave application, the employee's name and position, the employer's name, the leave type, the dates, the working days where the leave counts them, the return date, the date of the birth or death where given, the relationship on a bereavement leave, and any contact, handover notes and note typed. A leave application never asks for a diagnosis. The figures of the entitlement check stay in your browser and are never sent. These are used only to generate the letter you requested and are not stored on our servers.

Company and signer details are saved in your browser's localStorage so next month starts where this one ended; the employee or candidate details of the letter itself deliberately are not, and nothing entered on the employee's resignation letter, leave application, payment demand letter or passport return request is saved. The random device UUID accompanies each request, exactly as for the other document tools.

Ask the Law (AI assistant)

When you press Ask, your question (and, for a follow-up, your previous question and its answer) is sent to our processing service at api.payslip.ae and from there to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), a third-party AI provider outside the UAE, together with the text of the law articles it needs. It is used only to write the answer. Our service does not store or log the question or the answer; it records only counts and timings (how many articles were read, how long the answer took). We send it with OpenAI's store: false setting; under OpenAI's API data policy, OpenAI may keep API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use them to train its models.

Please do not type names, Emirates ID or passport numbers, salary figures or other personal details into the question. The random device UUID accompanies each request so that we can apply the limit of 10 questions a day per device; a daily counter for the whole service is kept as well. Neither contains your question. Your one-time acknowledgement of the disclaimer is remembered in your browser's localStorage; the question itself is not saved anywhere.

Find the right tool (AI, home page)

When you press Find in the Find the right tool field on the home page, the text you typed is sent to our processing service at api.payslip.ae and from there to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), a third-party AI provider outside the UAE, together with a fixed list of this site's pages. It is used only to pick up to three pages; the answer contains page identifiers and nothing else. Our service does not store or log the text; it records only counts, the page language and timings (how many pages were picked, how long it took). We send it with OpenAI's store: false setting; under OpenAI's API data policy, OpenAI may keep API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use them to train its models.

Please do not type names, Emirates ID or passport numbers, salary figures or other personal details into the field. The random device UUID accompanies each request so that we can apply the limit of 30 searches a day per device; a daily counter for the whole service is kept as well. Neither contains your text. The text is not saved in your browser or anywhere else.

Labour Complaint draft (AI)

When you press Write the draft, what you entered on the page (the categories you chose, the dates and amounts, the employer name if you give one, and your description) is sent to our processing service at api.payslip.ae and from there to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States), a third-party AI provider outside the UAE, together with the text of the law articles it needs. It is used only to write the draft. Our service does not store or log what you entered or the draft; it records only counts and timings. We send it with OpenAI's store: false setting; under OpenAI's API data policy, OpenAI may keep API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and does not use them to train its models.

Please leave out Emirates ID, passport and phone numbers: MOHRE asks for them in its own form. The random device UUID accompanies each request so that we can apply the limit of 5 drafts a day per device; a daily counter for the whole service is kept as well. Neither contains what you entered. Your one-time acknowledgement is remembered in your browser's localStorage; the form and the draft are not saved anywhere, so copy or print the draft before you leave the page.

Retention and deletion

• Generated payslip, salary-certificate and HR-letter documents: not retained server-side.
• Logos you upload on a document page: never retained server-side; they live in your browser until you clear them.
• AI-generated logos: retained until you delete them; deletion is immediate.
• A custom Word template you upload: retained until you delete it or erase your data; deletion is immediate.
• Ask the Law questions and answers: not retained or logged by payslip.ae (OpenAI's own API retention applies, see above).
• AI explanations of a result, complaint drafts, and the figures or text sent for them: not retained or logged by payslip.ae (OpenAI's own API retention applies, see above).
• The record tied to your device UUID (first and last request, usage counts) is retained until you erase it under "Your data" below; the daily rate-limit counters expire on their own within two days. None of it contains document content.

Your data

There are no accounts on Payslip.ae. Our processing service knows your browser only by the random device ID kept in its localStorage. The button below shows what the service holds under that ID: the device record (first and last request, usage counts), how many AI-generated logos are stored, your custom Word template, any saved preferences, and the requests counted against the daily limits. Asking is itself a request, so it updates the time of the last request.

Erasing removes all of it at once: the device record and its usage counters, your AI-generated logos and their history, your Word template, and any document an older version of the service stored under the ID. This browser then switches to a new device ID, so nothing connects it to the erased one. The erase request itself is counted, to limit abuse, in a counter that holds only a number and expires within two days. What is kept in your browser (a logo or company details on a document page) never reached our server; clear it with the "Clear" buttons on those pages.

This is how you can ask for erasure under Article 15 of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. For anything else, write to the address under "Contact".

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and whether generation succeeds or fails. We fire a closed list of milestone events: tool open, result, download, or error; callback or WhatsApp clicks to BGA; outbound clicks to wps.guru; and locale changes. Each event carries only the tool identifier or locale from a closed list, never free text. Error events carry no error text and no calculation numbers.

We never send: amounts, names, company, dates, email/phone, query parameters, filenames with PII, user properties with calculations, page routes, document types, formats, journey IDs, cta_id, source, page_language, or your device UUID. Legacy event names (e.g. payslip_salary_calc_result) appear in our dashboard but carry the same minimal parameters.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to see when a page breaks in the browser, so we can fix it. We send only the JavaScript error, its stack trace, and the tool page path (for example /calculator). We never send names, salaries, company names, dates, form field values, uploaded files, email or phone numbers. We do not record your session, keystrokes or what you type. Sentry is not used as analytics. When our server fails on a request, it sends Sentry the error type, its stack trace and the endpoint pattern (for example /api/hr-letter/:format), without the request content, your device ID or your IP address.
